Cygnus is a very outgoing, friendly boy. He’s one of the first to the cage door, and one of the last to want to go back. He’ll tuck his hind legs for me almost every time I pick him up. He also enjoys giving me kisses.
Cygnus has good size with nice overall type and bone. His tail is thick and round, and his head has good shape and breadth. His ears are small and spaced wide, his eyes are nice. Cygnus’ color is nice, but silvered. His points are dark and he has color down to his toes, though his front toes are a little pale.
Cygnus is one of four babies I kept from my outcross litter between one of my males and a female from Illinois. This outcross was meant to help improve the health and type of my rats. In this first litter I’ve seen an improvement in heads, the major type flaw I need to fix, as well as color. Improvements in health will be determined with time.
