I offer a small rat care booklet free of charge with every adoption.
Mar. 18, 2007: Today Aiko gave birth to 13 babies. The birth was easy and uneventful. All babies appear healthy.
Mar. 19, 2007: Aiko is a very good mother. She is attentive to her babies without being overly protective. She allows me to handle the babies. At this time there appear to be eight girls and three boys. About half the litter appears to be Siamese and about half appear to be dumbo.
Mar. 26, 2007: All babies are doing well. Their fur has come in and there are some very interesting colors. I am not entirely sure on the colors of some babies, so marked colors may change as they grow a little older and their color develops further. I am now taking tentative reservations on individual babies. Availability of babies is subject to change as I decide who I am keeping.
This picture shows a sample of each color in the litter. Some of these colors I have never seen before an am not entirely sure what they are. I have each color marked tentatively, but this designation may change as I figure out what the true colors are.
From left to right, the colors in this picture are:
Russian blue, Russina dove, Russian blue Burmese, Russian blue Siamese, Russian dove Burmese, mink, Burmese, black
The Black baby in these photos does not belong to this litter, but is from the Sterling x Tomoko litter. He is currently available for adoption.
