Winnie is a quiet girl. She doesn't explore much, but enjoys attention. She's a little less outgoing than her mother, but is still affection. She always tucks her legs when picked up.
Overall Winnie has nice type. She is a little on the small side, but not overly so. She's got a beautiful head with big eyes and nice ears. Her coloring is very good, with color down to her toes.
Winnie descends from my outcross between one of my males and a female from Illinois. He is the second generation in this outcross. The goal for this outcross was to improve the health and type of my rats. In this generation I have seen an amazing improvement in the heads of my animals. I hope to fix this trait into the line, while working at improving other traits. At this time I am still gathering health information, but so far Winnie's grandmother and her sister are doing wonderful. They will turn 2 years old on February 11, 2010 and so far have had no health concerns, are holding good weight, and don't look a day over 1 year.
